For the first ever ESF event, it was a great success, enjoyed by everyone who participated and we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the organizers and parties involved.

Despite the wet weather on the Saturday which caused us to skip a couple of qualifying runs, we could not be happier with both our presence and results. Paige Lindenberg took a Shelby Super Snake through the 1 mile run, clocking a very commendable 40,8 second as her best time.

Charles Needham, a friend and customer of Shelby South Africa took his beautiful 50^th Anniversary Shelby Super Snake down the 1 miler, improving his times in every run.

Our CEO, Peter Lindenberg brought his 1965 Shelby GT350 out to play with an outstanding time of 41,7 seconds in the historic car category and giving him the win in his class.

While the three Shelby’s played some fierce games on the 1 mile run, the rest of the Shelby SA team were at the startline with our static display. Our stand was graced with the unrivaled beauty of the 50th anniversary convertible Shelby Super Snake, as well as the signed movie premier, Ford v Ferrari GT40.

Shelby South Africa are always humbled by the love and passion for the powerhouse brand and the positive response to all the unique Shelby SA Mustang Mods.
